Third Thursday

August 18 plan on meeting up for a Back to School for Mom activity.  We are planning some fun things to kick-off the school year and get Mom focused in on good habits for her!  The plan is 7pm as usual but the place is still to be determined.  Check back for an update!

With the Savior's love deep in our hearts,

We're given desires to do our part.

By serving others...a marvelous thing

to brighten lives and make hearts sing.

Because we're asked by He, Himself,

to polish and shine others dreary selves.

And rid them of the dusty grime

caused from downcast and difficult times.

A strength will come to make them strong,

because we sang our Savior's song.

A caring love with compassion deep,

as Relief Society sisters who want to keep

the love of our Savior in each weary heart

as we spread His word by doing our part.

UPDATE for Third Thursday

Make sure you plan on coming to Sister Dyer's house next Thursday for Summer Salad and Scripture Study Pointers.  We will gather at 7pm and at 7:30, Brother McDonald will give us a lesson on studying scriptures.  If you are bringing a salad and wouldn't mind printing some recipes to go with it, that would be great!

Don't miss Third Thursday, July 21, 7PM at the home of Sister Dyer.  Please bring your favorite summer salad.  We would love to have you bring some copies of your recipe to share, unless of course you cannot share your family secret!  Details to follow.
